I am rather new to Linux (Suse 10.1) and k(bit)torrent so I have not found a solution to my problem by reading several posts in this forum:

I have tried to resume a partial download (multifile) from my vectorlinux-laptop (ktorrent v.1.0) on my PC (Suse10.1 and ktorrent v.1.2). I tried it two ways:

First by beginning a new download with the torrent-file, stopping it after a little while and overwriting all created files with the partially downloaded file structure from my ktorrent v.1.0 (though the file structure looked slightly different as v1.0 saves the downloads in tor[n]- folders and creates "cache"-folders which v.1.2 does not.)
After restarting the download ktorrend started the download from the very beginning though.

Importing the download with the import-plug-in has not worked either. I did not get any errors but after pointing the paths to the torrent file and the tor0-folder with 50% of the 700MB-download in it the GUI showed only 0.05% competed (after 1.5 hours of "resumed" downloading).
May be the resuming downloads do work and only the displayed progress info is wrong but I would like to know beforehand before letting it download several hundred MBs over a few days and ending up with a corrupt file

greetings

saha

You do not point to the tor0 folder, you point to the actual data, which in 1.0 is in tor0/cache, if I'm not mistaken (1.0 was a long time ago)
