I frequently use the bitsoup tracker, and it limits you to one connection per torrent, as I understand it. Anyways, when I load a torrent from bitsoup, I recieve the following tracker message:
"Connection limit exceeded! You may only leech from one location at a time."

I have set "Maximum Connections Per Torrent" to 1 on the Configure Ktorrent screen, but no luck.

Any other options I can set clear this error message? Thanks.

PS Using the same torrent as above, I can connect using the newest bittorrent-curses program (4.20.9 or something).

The maximum connections per torrent is a setting on peers, not on tracker. I would set it to 25.

What probably is going on here, is that KTorrent is either crashed or the tracker "thinks" the connection was still alive because of some other weird reason.
Anyway, it's a mather of stopping the torrents that interact with this tracker, and wait as long as the normal announce time so in this way the tracker knows the connection is timed out.
Some tracker also have an extra option to kill these "lost connections" somehwere in your profile. If you happen to use that method, remember to stop all torrents first.
