After a short while, 2.0.1 stops downloading and uploading. What else can i say!?

I'm seeding 250 torrents and leeching 11. That's also what the tracker shows.

KTorrent works thou - it connects to peers, authenticates (both with failure and OK result), updates tracker. The log plugin also shows that some connections time out and sometimes it "Cannot find RPC call". According to the infowidget plugin, all the peers I'm connected to are snubbed.

Only restarting KTorrent helps me to resume downloading/uploading for some hours until it stoppes again.

Strange if it is what I think it is, it should allready be solved in the latest code from SVN.

Can anybody confirm this with the latest from SVN ?

I have created a new SVN snapshot, if you don't want to mess around with subversion :

I'll try the SVN snapshot. But it may take hours to reproduce... in case it will reproduce at all with the SVN snapshot.

The SVN snapshot sometimes seems to work even more strangely.
1) Sometimes it doesn't upload nor download (same as 2.0.1),
2) sometimes it doesn't upload, only downloads,
3) sometimes it doesn't download, only uploads,
4) but mostly it downloads and uploads normally

EDIT: It seems to "change state" every once and a while.

PS: I have no upload/download limits, only a global connections limit(400) and a max connections per torrent limit (30).

How many torrents are you running ?

And if you set download and upload limits, does it make a difference ?

18 downloads, 257 uploads.

I don't know.

Actually I haven't haven't noticed the issue in the last 20 hours. Maybe it was just the SVN snapshot using a cached version of 2.0.1's libktorrent?!? Could this be?

I don't think so, that it could be cached, it should be reloaded again.

The same thing happened with 2.0.2 - I left it open for then night (about 9 downloads and 287 uploads) and when I woke up 8 hours later, the upload and download speeds where down to zero.

+ as DHT was set on it resulted in a SIGSEGV in dht::Task::~Task or something similar when I closed ktorrent (I forgot to save the backtrace, sry).

You are running a lot of torrents, are you sure you have enough bandwith available ?

My internet connection should only have speed limits. But as my ISP over here seems to be a "troublesome" company, in the next few days I'll try to check out whether they just started to filter my connections or something...

EDIT: I see it's most likely a bug in ktorrent, because after restarting ktorrent, it starts to upload and download normally again without any further delay.
