Another day lost to troubleshooting...

New install of KTorrent v1.2 over KDE 3.5.4 and Debian Etch.

Trying to DL a file, but stalled. In the log:
Code: Select all
Doing tracker request to url : http://192.138.221.145:3535/announce... blah blah
Error: Could not connect to host 192.138.221.145 (port 3535)
Tracker Response Error

On the firewall I've opened
TCP In: 6881-6969,3535
UDP In: 4444,6881
TCP Out: 3535

I am seeing no firewall errors.

Well, looking at the transactions on Ethereal I am sending a request out from 47241 to 3535, and then receiving an ACK+RST response coming in on 3535 for 47241.

Why is the tracker sending me a RST?

I'm not quite sure but anyway I suggest you upgrade to v2.0.1 and see what happens.

I don't think it will make that much difference, if you can't connect to the host.

Anyway, seeing that I can't reach it with wget and ping, it is probably down.
