I've been trying to fix it for myself, but I was sure that this was a known feature until I read this post. Maybe its someones sick idea of trying to force people to seed longer? I dont know, but anyway once I get it working correctly on my machine, I'll surely post a patch here that you can use to recompile with to fix this. Or maybe the person that did it could just come clean and post a patch or cvs update to fix it because quite frankly I am terrible at math hehehe.

Ok, but could you tell me what part of the code is that what you are talking about? ("throttles the download to 3-4x SLOWER than the current upload rate UNTIL it hits 20%" - that part?)

installed 2.0.3 and its performing pretty well. getting highest download speed that i never got from ktorrent. i find out that if specific single port on kTorrent is forwarded rather than done by Upnp kTorrent works better.
