I saw on the wikipedia comparison of bittorrent clients that Ktorrent supports CLI, command line interface.
But otherwise I can't seem to find a reference to this feature anywhere! I would very much love to use KTorrent on my X-less server box. Is this in any way possible?? Thanks! ~BTW: I really love ktorrent, 2.0.2 is just ace! |

Ever tried to compile qt or kdelibs without X stuff? And I dont think they will remove the qt socket stuff.
And if you have X, but not running....I dont think they will seperate gui and download stuff in the near future. We have mldonkey and all the ncurse based clients that do their work very well. If you cannot life without ktorrent: have you tried to use remote session...freenx or something like that. |
