I should take a look at this, AZ seems to seed more. Maybe we can tweak the choke algorithm a bit more for seeding. Trying to send at a more constant rate, might also not be a bad idea.

If your seing memory leaks try killing gam_server, ktorrent triggered some leaks in gam_server for me (I THINK), but I have a sneaking suspicion it's not ktorrent's fault.. as a LOT of people has seen this problem with semingly random applications using fam through gamin.

Currerntly I have no process running named gam_server or somethng like that. Memory usage seems to be increasing very slowly,

gam_server is related to the gamin file system monitor, a replacement for fam.

Although fam was replaced because of a ton of bugs on it's own, so it's possible restarting that will help too

Under KDE no fam or gamin is needed whatsoever anymore.

From my side, I can tel, that from my tests it looks, that TOS has nothing to do here. Whatever is set, KT seeds the same amount, and still less than AZ.
