I'm sure this is somewhere on these forums, but I can't seem to find it. I am trying to use ktorrent, but every time I start a download, I get an unreachable tracker. I think I've enabled my firewall correctly. Is there a "how to"/documentation somewhere that tells how to get ktorrent running? If not, is someone willing to help?

Are you sure that the trackers you are trying to contact are online ? Second, are you behind a proxy ?

Interesting... When exactly this started happening? I'm having the same errors these days with only some trackers but I was almost sure it was my connection...

I'm not positive that the trackers I am trying to contact are online. However, I've tried several torrents, each with several "seeds" and "leechers" (according to mininova), all with the same problem. Is there a way to check whether a tracker is online?

I just started using ktorrent. So far, I have not successfully started a torrent download.

By the way. I'm using ktorrent 2.02 from the ubuntu repos. (Qt 3.3.6, KDE 3.5.3).

The server doesn't respond for some reason, hence the timeouts.

However, if I use wget to contact the tracker, I can reach it. Can you send me that torrent ?

In program in Tracker Status is: Icorrect message from tracker.
This is only on one site. Whein i use Azureus all is fine.
The site not ban me and KTorrent, ports and other is unlocked.
My KTorrent vesion is 2.0.2. I await any solution these problem.
