My ISP requires all data to go through an HTTP proxy.
How do I set the proxy and torrent transfer data to go through an HTTP proxy without changing my proxy in my linux environment? Thanks, John

It is possible to use an HTTP proxy for bittorrent connections as long as all the torrent data is TCP protocol. It has not been implemented into any bittorent clients, but it is possible. It is possible because a TCP HTTP proxy can route bi-directional data.

Well, is it then still a HyperText Transfer Protocol proxy, strictly speaking?;) |
