I opened a torrent "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia -solotrackerdvd.net-" and it locked up KTorrent during disk allocation, and continued to do that every time I restarted it.
Because it's not obvious, and I couldn't find anything on it in the forums, I'll mention it here: In ~home/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/tor if I remember correctly the torrents are stored in tor# folders, probably in the order you imported them. So to fix my problem and cauterize the wound, I just rm -rf'ed the tor6 folder, for example. There's probably a cleaner fix, but this worked. Just FYI in case somebody else has this problem. |
