i downloaded ktorrent 2.0.3 source code and want to build and compile it on linux suse10, but when i run the configure cmd it says error that im missing gmp.
i downloaded gmp file but where do i add it and how do i build it with all the ktorrent.
im a newbie (especially with linux) so please answer in detail

You just have to install gmp through suse's Yast. You don't have to build ktorrent yourself, you can use the packages provided on download page.

Yes, lucke is right. You will need to install libgmp along with development package for this library (probably called dev-libgmp or libgmp-headers or something like that, SuSE gurus could help here).

But as lucke stated, there's a RPM for KTorrent 2.0.3 on our website you should use that. Or much better, wait a couple of days for 2.1 release candidate 1 and install that.
