hi, my ktorrent crashes on start, i think its because i have 34 torrents in there,
how do i do a fresh install, i reinstalled it, and reinstalled it, but it seems that there are still files that stick around

im fairly a n00b to linux, im running xubuntu
ive had to mount my second hard drive, so im not completely petrified of the terminal, i just need help telling me what to do with it

man, i have to say though, to everyone i meet linux makes me sooo happy

KTorrent stores config&data files in the following directory:

~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent

Deleting that directory would probably be what you want to do.

BTW, you could post your log file here so we can see what's the problem (before deleting it offcourse). It's in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/log


And you didn't mention what version are you using. Always stick with the latest I'd suggest.
