Hi there,
This is a bug report regarding the KTorrent 2.1rc1 GUI. I have no idea what causes this. Sometimes, one of the names of the fles in the download manager gets 'highlighted' in a yellow box (surrounded by a black line). This highlighted text stays on top of the desktop forever. i.e. Even when I switch applications, or show the desktop, this highlighted text persists everywhere, and always floating in the same location. I cannot seem to get rid of it, even if I shut down KTorrent. If I restart KDE, the problem disappears. Right/left-clicking on the floating highlighted text does nothing, and I cannot seem to get rid of it. Right now, as I'm writing this bug report, I can see the floating highlighted filename in the middle of the firefox window. Very annoying. This problem has happened only with KTorrent 2.1rc1. When using an earlier stable version, this issue never happened. This might simply be a KDE problem. However, This problem only appears when using KTorrent, which makes me think KTorrent. I'm currently on KDE 3.5.4, using Slackware 11.0 with 2.6.17.13 kernal. |
