Hi,

I've been using Ktorrent on SUSE 10.2 linux for several weeks with no problems until recently. Everything was going OK - good download speeds, when I clicked on the folder icon on the top tool bar - everything froze. Ktorrent was completely dead. I re-booted the PC and tried to launch it but got the following backtrace/error message.

"System configuration startup check disabled.

I then uninstalled, and re-installed (twice) but always the same result - Ktorrent refuses to boot and I get this same error message.

I've browsed a few other posts and I think I have to clear out the config file, but just wanted to get the experts' opinion before I go and break something for ever.

Thanks in advance.

The crash you see in the backtrace has already been fixed. This will be part of the 2.1.1 bugfix release.

The freeze when you click on the folder icon on the top toolbar, I don't know. Haven't seen that yet.

I to suffer from this same problem... When is the bugfix scheduled to release? Or is it already?
