In the settings
2 options are 1. save temp files to 2. Move files to If you include option 2 - move files to, the temp files remain also, doubling disc use, in fact it seems to actually save the file to both folders at the same time. Where it should just move the completed file, and then remove the temp Is it a case of just leaving option 2 and move them manually? |

~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/tor27/dnd/ does indeed seem to have data in it (about 9GB worth). The files in the cache directory just link to those. The destination dir of this torrent is on another partition, but (unless I'm terribly mistaken, which has been known to happen before) this directory may have been responsible for my /home partition suddenly running out of disk space. Is there a way to prevent such things? Am I totally misunderstanding how the temp dirs and such work? KTorrent 2.1.1, KDE 3.5.6 |
