hi george,

thank you very much for the hint.
unfortunately, the german version of ktorrent i use (2.0.3) offers in the file menu only "new, open, insert torrent url and quit".
however, i found the ipfilterplugin in settings>modules. ktorrent reported the filter not to be loaded, even though it obviously was working in that very moment. i cannot see the entries of the blacklist itself there. the only options for the plugin are "load/unload". that's what i did, nothing changed.
now i found out: ktorrent needed to be restarted for the filter to actually unload.
so, my problem is solved for the moment :)
for future cases, though, i would like to know if there is another way to access/edit the blacklist itself, command line would be fine...

best regards!

There is no other way at the moment, however anybody you ban should show up in the dialog.
