Changing the version of ktorrent send to the tracker

Is there possibility to somehow change the version (of ktorrent) that ktorrent sends to the tracker...
I need it because newer versions are banned and if I could change it I could use the latest one... :twisted:
I would prefer not to compile from source, but if there isn't another way???

The only way to do this is to change the code.

And if you were able to edit it from the standard interface, big torrent sites like oink and such would be mad at that and ban kTorrent. Correct?

@pogo: By unofficially changing KT code the only person to be banned is you so be careful...
