It seems I solved the problem with these setting:

Max connection per torrent: 30
Global connection limit: 120

I can't say if the download speed is lowered, but at least I can use internet

Well i can tell you how i do it; i'm not sure of all the traffic shaping possibilities out there. I use IP Cop for my routing and it uses WonderShaper for traffic shaping. It's a very straight forward program and it works great.

Hello, I say you my experience.

As in the treadh is said, after 30 minutes moreless the net becomes unservible.

When downloading only 1 file, without seeding (except the one downloading), and having 80 connections por torrent, the net is up. No problem.

Only seeding, whatever numer of files, and 80 connections each one, the net is OK, a bit slow.

Downloading 2 torrents, no seeding other torrents, and with 80 connections per torrent, the net will be down in 10-15 minutes moreles. The net can be restored with the connections for each torrent limited to 35 (i've tested 40, 50, 70).

So, i've limited to 35 and all seems to be ok.
