Not strictly a ktorrent problem, but upload problems

There was another thread, but I think my problem is different.

When downloading torrents it will upload at around 1kB/s or less and then stop uploading all together when done downloading. When I start ktorrent up I see a few people pop up as peers on my seeded torrents, but then they just disappear and I have nobody to upload to. I get the same problem in utorrent as well...

This could easily be a non-fixable problem with my connection. I'm running on my apartment's wireless network which I have no control over. Otherwise, could it be a problem with the way I have linux set up?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if I shouldn't have posted this, considering it isn't necessarily ktorrent related.

There probably aren't enough leechers. KT disconnects peers if they are seeders when you're seeding so that's probably why your peers disappear. It's a normal behavior.

Try seeding a torrent with lots of leechers, you should definitely see some upload.

I did end up getting one torrent to upload at a few kB/s for a little while. Right now I'm seeding a few torrents that should have about half leechers and half seeders. Am I just getting knocked off by the other seeders?
