Well the RSS feed has been working well since 2.03 beta1 (i think) however i noticed yesterday that the feeds tab had disappeared. I had a look in the plugins and it wasn't loaded, if i try to load it i hear heaps of hdd activity and than the program crashes.

If i run it from console this is the error i get.
"terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_allo c'
what(): St9bad_alloc
KCrash: Application 'ktorrent' crashing...".

Now im quite happy to to rebuild the preferences file or something if thats whats required but it would be good if the file storing the rss feed filters could be backed up.

Some of those feeds probably got corrupted and the RSS plugin doesn't handle this properly.

It would probably be best that you take all files with a .ktr extension in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent and the rssfeeds subdirectory, put those in a zip file and send that to us.

That way we can easily reproduce it and fix the problem.

PLEASE NOTE YOU NEED TO RENAME ARCHIVE.ZIP TO ARCHIVE.TAR.GZ. Sorry its the only way the file was accepted on that site. Im changing ISP's so didn't want to risk putting that on my webspace for it to be removed 5 minutes later.

OK, I have asked Alan (the author of the RSS plugin), to take a look at it.
