I'm using ktorrent 2.1.2 and on speed I see strange thing - it increasеs constantly until torrent is downloading. It's on down and up speeds. if I try to limit speed from preferences the torrent file stops to download what can it be from ?

I have this problem from a long time. It just happens, and after some time (about two weeks or something) it get back to normal.

Did you ever compile KTorrent from source? It's propably some old liblaries from previous instalations. Instaling precompiled version from repository helps me, but i want to keep using svn.

I have been having the same issues, of course there could be variety of issues but I see the same .torrent having a great speed in utorrent (in windows) while its pathetic in fiesty using ktorrent 2.1
