KDE problem ?

Sun Apr 08, 2007 3:14 pm
Hi,

after installing few tons of lib's tried to install

after ./configure i get this:

bla, bla
....
checking if Qt needs -ljpeg... no
checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

so what now ?

i run on Xandros

pls help,
B.

Install the KDE development packages (no idea what they are named in Xandros, but probably something like kdelibs-dev)

passed the configure, but it seems there is a biger problem
i get lot's of error mess. during make

here a few from the last:

../../libktorrent/mse/bigint.h:26:17: gmp.h: No such file or directory
In file included from ../../libktorrent/mse/encryptedauthenticate.h:25,
from peermanager.cpp:36:
../../libktorrent/mse/bigint.h:93: error: 'mpz_t' is used as a type, but is not
defined as a type.
make[4]: *** [peermanager.lo] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/basix/ktorrent-2.1.3/libktorrent/torrent'
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/basix/ktorrent-2.1.3/libktorrent'
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/basix/ktorrent-2.1.3/libktorrent'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/basix/ktorrent-2.1.3'
make: *** [all] Error 2

i'm not exactly a linux guru, more like a basic user
but i guess ktorrent is not 100% compatible with Xandros

Thank you

You have to instal development package for libgmp not just the library. It's probably called libgmp-dev or something like that
