grr i was afraid you would say that i can't figure out how to do that...
well i can but suse only has a package for 2.1.2 right now...Yast..

I need to figure out how to totally remove it from my computer all files and settings ... everything...
i can uninstall it with yast but when i reinstall it , it just loads all my old setting...

so all i really need to do is download the source and compile it myself. I'm trying that as i type...

*edit* well i got this error i'm going to try and check and see if i have that libjpeg and the qt librarys install...

configure: WARNING: libjpeg not found. disable JPEG support.
checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
