Hy. I`am new to linux and I need help. I need to know hot to instal and run kTorrent?

Some more information could be helpful. What distro of Linux are you running?

It is Linux Fedora Core 6

You will need to find an RPM for fedora, or you can compile it from source, but you probably don't have all the stuff installed to do that.

Isn't there some apt-get like tool in fedora to easily install packages ?

I didn`t find it.

My best suggestion is to Google search your distro and ktorrent (like I did...)

http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/ktorrent/

Either that, or try to find how to install proper packages (probably using YUM) and find out how to build applications from source...

Fedora probably isn't the best distro for a newbie to Linux. Mepis or PCLinuxOS would be better choices.

I'm new with the Linux OS and having quite a lot of problems with new software. Unfortunately didn't get any help so far. I can't understand how to use the guide about the installation.
