i have previously experienced that german special letters - that is ä, ö, ü and ß - will cause ktorrent to call these files "missing" and ask for whether i want to download them again or not downloading them at all - were "download again" is not a real option since it results in an aborted download every time. now i want to get a chunk of french documents via ktorrent, but the files obviously contain special characters, too, probably like "ç". of ~750mb i can only download ~400mb now. how may i avoid this? i can not ask my peer to send 300mb via mail. :)

best regards & thank you very much!

Version ?

As far as I know, all problems with characters like this should be solved in 2.1.4.

Yes you can. Just upgrade and KT will continue to download old torrents.

Make backups just in case.
