There is an odd issue I am running to with a certain torrent that I am downloading. There are around 4 seeders and 4 leechers, most of them very slow.
After an announce my ktorrent will connect to one seed (running Azureus 2.5.0.4) and download with good speed exactly one chunk and then stop. There will be no further downloading even I wait 10 or 20 minutes. However when I kick the peer and manually add the peer again, it will start downloading another chunk with good speed. And then stop. Kicking a peer and doing a manual announce also seems to work to get it to download another piece. [edit: It's more than one chunk. it's often around 2 and a half chunks (~576kb) before it stops). Is there something broken? Is this worth looking into? Or can it only be that there is something funky going on at the azurues-side? I have PeerExchange enabled and both options for encryption checked. The IP of the azureus peer does not show a lock icon next to it. If I can provide more info let me know. |
