A friend from another forum, to whom I recommended KTorrent, has had some trouble getting registered. He asks me to post this since the email form isn't working. I also tried, but got the same error he did:

It seems that my account exists (I was shown as the most recent member being welcomed), and I'm in the userlist, but I can't log in. I tried to send a PM to a site administrator using the userlist, but needed to be logged in to do that, and just can't find a link anywhere to contact the staff otherwise. Hence this roundabout route.

Requesting my password to be sent to me (I wondered if I'd somehow mistyped it twice) resulted in a "your account is inactive" error. Presumably I was sent an authentication email, and my account remains inactive until I click some link in that. From the error text above, I never got sent that email, and certainly as of now nothing has arrived.

I tried it all again, just in case it was something I did the first time, and the same happened.

Could you manually send me that authorisation email, please? My details are:

Userid: Scunge
Email: Please use the email account on file.

Something seems to be b0rked all right, I'm not getting any "there's been a reply to the topic you are watching for replies" messages anymore.

I know, I have contacted the server admins.
