Howdy..
Im basicly wanting to know if there is an easy way from commandline of updating the bandwidth scheduele/limting settings of an active ktorrent application. My idea is simple. I can pull down from my isp how much quota i have left and what the period of time to use that in, so i can obviously calculate how much bandwidth i can currently use so that i dont run out by the end of the month. I would like to automate it so that if someone was to download 5gig of data on a different computer, when the script runs next and the bandwidth limiting gets recalculated to how much i can use for the month, ktorrent gets updated and relimits/unlimits as required.. Suggestions? Ideas, Comments? Something im overlooking? |

There are DCOP methods to set the max download and upload speed (just type dcop ktorrent KTorrent in a shell, and you get all available methods) |
