crashes with 2.1.4

Hello!

[DISCLAMER]
NOOB

I have a problem with Ktorrent on Ubuntu 7.04.

After awhile of totally normal downloading my computer just freezes. There is a blank, black screen, the LED for hard drive activity is constantly on, and the wireless card LED shows no traffic on the network. So we can conlude that Ktorrent is not working in the backround, just that the whole system has frozen.

I thought it might be the OS that is causing the problem so I did a clean install and still the same issues.

Oh, if any of you wants a backtrace or whatever, please tell me how to do it.

So,what's going on?

Could be anything.

What happens if you do CTRL+ALT+F1 ?

This should get you a shell, you can then login and run top to see what programs are running and how much CPU they are using.

If ktorrent is still running, you can try killing it with killall ktorrent

All I can say is ooops!

Seems that Ktorrent has nothing to do with crashing of the OS. Still Don't know what is going on. The interesting thing is that the os did that prior to the clean install as well as now.

Oh, and by the way, Ctrl+Alt+F1 did absolutly nothing cause the computer is stuck. I know that this has nothing to do with Ktorrent anymore but if you might have experienced the same problem, throw me a bone. :-)

Thank you!
