I am trying to remove all the trackers for a torrent. When I select "Remove Tracker", then I get the error "Can't remove torrent default tracker." I would like to only use DHT and PeerExchange with zero trackers.
Is there a solution to this other than tricking Ktorrent by placing in a http proxy of 127.0.0.1 port 1 (nothing running locally)? Thanks. |

That is possible with Azureus. I want to use KTorrent with the I2P and TOR networks. I would also like to use KTorrent for decentralized torrenting through solely the DHT and PeerExchange functions. Why has this not been implemented in KTorrent and will it be in the future?
Thanks.

I know that both are enabled in the newest version; I just want to use them without tracker support. Purely DHT and PeerExchange without connecting to the "default" tracker is what I was wondering how to enable.

There are torrents which do not have trackers and only have some DHT nodes in them. We even support making them. |

I'll have to try that feature. Sounds like a good add-in for the new version of KTorrent.
If I download a torrent from a website, say isohunt.com, can I download the data by DHT and PeerExchange without it connecting to a tracker? This version looks the best. Thanks, John
