IPBlock and Ubuntu feisty

Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:45 am
Hi,

I just did a new reinstall of Ubuntu feisty, installed ktorrent 2.2 and enabled the IPBlock plugin. Doing a network download and convert of the iplist didn't show any progress after a 'convert' and stayed like that for an hour until I cancelled it.

The workaround seemed to be to download the file locally, unzip it, then point the IPblock convert to the splist.txt file itself. Then I got the standard progress bar displaying it was progressing.

Unsure if this is entirely related to Ubuntu...

You need to install all the kio plugins. I forgot the exact package name, but search up "kio" and it should be located around there.
