2.2.2 ./configure problem when compiling from source

the error i get is:
Code: Select all
checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X libraries. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

Install the X11 development package from your distro, and while you are at it, also install the KDE, Qt and libgmp development packages.
