But well, since the problem is stil here with ktorrent 2.2.1 (still waiting for the 2.2.2 package for my distrib), I send you a screenshot of a too large (>1280) directory selector.



As you can see, there is no long string or widget that would compel such a layout.
Is that a KDE or a ktorrent problem ? (I do not remember seeing the same thing in other KDE apps... )[/img]

KDE problem, for some reason they got really big and because the settings are saved at exit, you get the same big size again.

How it got so big, I have no idea.

But you can probably solve this by opening ~/.kde/share/config/ktorrentrc and removing the KFileDialog section. Do this when KT is not running, then start KT and see if it happens again.
