Hi, I have a REALLY slow connection, so the only option I have is to use GreedyTorrent to make up for the loss of speed, how do you configure KTorrent with GreedyTorrent? :?

Because it has specially been designed for windows.
There is however a leecher mod on http://blog.leecher-world.com/07/19/ktorrent-v022.html (no i do *not* have an invite), i hope they have changed identification of the client though.:?

IMHO there is no excuse for using something like this. I have been doing bittorrent for years with a 256/256k dsl line. It takes about 5 hours to download 350MB. I have always maintained at least a 1:1 share ratio and when I used to use Azureus I was at 1.9:1 with over 130GB downloaded. So I feel there is no excuse to at least upload what you download.

Contrary to popular instinct, it's easier to be 1:1 on a slow line. The temptation to dump out of a transfer when finished (which cable speeds of 5 Mbps / 128 kbps promote) is not present when you're forced to upload as you download.

I do agree with it being easier to upload on this line, but I still am on the lowest end of the DSL spectrum.

I can't wait to move to Germany...
