Since i would like to use the Webgui of Ktorrent I want to upgrade to the latest version.

Synaptic however, does not permit me.

Actual Version: 2.0.3 +dfsgl-2.2
Newest Version: 2.0.3 +dfsgl-2.2

My KDE is 3.5.5

How to obtain the latest? and is it stable with Debian 4.0r1?

Download the ktorrent deb package for Debian etch from http://ktorrent.org/index.php?page=downloads and either dpkg -i /path/to/the/downloaded/deb (command line) as root or install it with kpackage (gui)
