There is a default entry in the IP filter options
( http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/splist.zip )

Then a note says: ZIP file from bluetack not supported.

So thats a bit a confusing, because it looks to me like the default entry is a bluetack ZIP file.

And I can't find the one you list by default on bluetack's site. It would be:
http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/level1.zip

So here is a question: Just what is supported. Could I download the level1.zip file, unpack it locally and link to that text file?

You do not even have to link to it, you can just download the zip file, convert it and be done, no linking needed afaik.

It should in fact say that the zip file IS supported, are you sure?

A TIP:
I always manually download the Bluetack IP-Filter torrent from this forum thread. It is updated weekly. Then I extract level 1, 2 & 3 archives and put all IPs into one txt file. KT then converts this file with my custom IP-Filters.
