Configuring problem and RSS feed

Wed Oct 03, 2007 6:02 pm
Hello, I just discovered ktorrent the other day and am now trying to install it. However, I ran into a problem here about QT.

QT 3.3 and QT-dev seem to be installed already by default on my CentOS4, but I'm still getting the error below. It seem that the headers and libraries are not found. How do I fix this?

checking for libpng... -lpng -lz -lm
checking for libjpeg6b... no
checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg
checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

Another thing is, I want to know if ktorrent support automatic torrent fetching from rss feed? Meaning, ktorrent would automatically download torrents from rss feed.

Thanks all for your help! :D

I'm not sure about the compilation, minus looking at your config.log to find out why it isn't detecting Qt...

But with the RSS feed reader, it does support it and you can set it up with RegExp.
