KTorrent 2.2.2 and ram using.

Tue Oct 30, 2007 4:08 pm
I'm using KTorrent 2.2.2 for downloading, but it eats ~100mb RAM + ~200mb SWAP when I'm downloading ~5 torrents and seeding ~8 torrents. It's normal or something doesn't work like it should?

Kermit.

The more torrents, the more RAM usage.

I know that but I think it isn't normal behavior ... I think it's memleak - this problem exists for more than one user. KTorrent can eat 1GB of RAM + 2Gb SWAP space after running for more than 12 hours with 10 torrents - is that normal?

Sorry for my English.

If it doesn't go down after stopping/removing the downloads, it's a memleak, but I really wouldn't think so.
You know you can also adjust how much memory KTorrent should use in the settings?
