udp tracker?

Sat Nov 10, 2007 12:00 am
I'm using 2.2.2 on gentoo, I've forwarded the udp tracker port the same as for the "main" tcp port and the dht udp port, however `netstat -nlp` only lists ktorrent as listening on the tcp and dht udp ports.

Also, according to the iptables rulesets there isn't any traffic coming into the udp tracker port.

Is this working, or am I completely misunderstanding something here?

Thanks.

The port is only used when you actually got a torrent with a UDP tracker in it.

These torrents are not that common.

Ah.

Thank you, that clears things up.
