torrent order numbering?

Fri Nov 30, 2007 1:16 pm
hi
How do I know which torrent was added last?
I would like to see the order in which my torrents are added.

in Azureus there is 1,2,3,4,5, numbering for each torrent.

is there such feature in ktorrent?

No there isn't, there is currently only an downloading time collumn in place for that. However, this might be not what you want though.
It might be a nice feature request for the next version IMO. Let's see what George think of it.

Last I heard George was still unsure how he was going to do the queue setup in the KDE4 version. I have suggested the very same thing as you. But right now the only way to check which version was added last is to view the Queue Manager itself, but if you have stopped the torrents it switches them to user and then screws up the list.

My easy solution: let's add "When added" (or just "Added") field for every torrent :-) It doesn't sound really complex, gives more info about torrent plus more opportiunities for future development.

that would be one solution.

or simply add a counter and increment it everytime we add a new torrent. Possibly with a counter reset button?

:D
