I was playing around with plug in's and menu Items, and have managed to completely remove all menu items, rendering the program completely useless. .
I have removed and installed through the fedora package manager, but the program still comes up with no menu's. I did a search and remove of all files that had ktorrent in the title, re-installed, and still the program comes up in a completely unusable state. I love linux, fedora, and Ktorrent, but at this point, I need to use my Windows box to do any torrent downloads, because all other Linux Torrent programs are lame. Please Help! Is there anything I can do to completely remove Ktorrent from my machine so I can re-load it using fedora's package manager, and end up with a Ktorrent program that is fresh, like it was when I first started using it? Thanks in advance for any help with this one.

The CTR+M worked!! I saw a previous post that said to do that, but It didnt work for me at the time. (Maybe a reboot took care of that). It works now, and I have replaced all menus and action buttons. I now have a program I can use again....Thanks!
BUT, the reason I was removing menus in the first place was to try to see the bottom of the window itself, because after installing and using the Info Widget plug in, the overall window would get longer than my screen, and I couldnt see the bottom of the program's window, or the other info widget tabs after clicking any of the tabs, or drag the center horizontal frame seperator up any further. I can see the first tab clicked on, such as statistics, but then I cant see any other tabs in the widget. I have a 19" wide screen monitor, running 1440 by 900 resolution, which should be plenty for any window...and no other program does this... It even does the same thing in 1024X768. If I unload the widget, load it back up, and click on any of the tabs, such as files, chunks, trackers, etc, I can see the repective information window, but not the other tabs, which I am assuming are at the bottom of the info window, but I cant tell because it goes lower than my task bar, and I can never see the bottom of the window. Soooo....if I want to see any other tab in the widget, I have to unload and load the widget up again and click on the tab I want to see. I have decided to only view the statistics tab, which to me is the most important anyway, and call it good. But it would be nice if I could switch between the other tabs and view their info without having to unload and load the widget every time... Am I the only one who has this problem? Thanks again, Mike |
