Hi guys. This is my first post so don't be too mean.
![]() I've been using KTorrent for a while in Xubuntu now and I was wondering if it would be possible to install it on my laptop. My laptop (unfortunately) has Windows Vista and installing Linux on it is out of the question because I need Windows on it for my job. My laptop has Visual Studio 2008 Pro, Cygwin and MinGW and I was wondering if it wouls somehow be possible to install KTorrent on it. I know that it isn't officially supported, but it shouldn't be that hard should it? Thanks in advance, ~~ amgupt01 |

I think you would have more luck with the kde4, because most of the kde4 libs are actually ported to windows (why they do that I don't know, though;)
(look at http://www.kdelibs.com/ for more details on how to compile kdelibs for windows). |

Yea...
I'll probably just wait for KDE 4 though because it's officially supported on Windows and it comes out in a week or something. Thanks for your help though. Another question: What commands should I use to compile KTorrent after I get KDE? Should I just follow the instructions on the website or will that not work? I really appreciate your all's help. ~~ amgupt01 |
