How to restart a paused download?

Wed Jan 23, 2008 3:23 pm
I had some bandwidth issues and was forced to pause/stop a couple of downloads that was rather large and slowed things down for me.

Now me bandwidth is no longer a problem and I started ktorrent to complete the large downloads. Clicking on a download and then selcting play is not possible because the play button is grayed out. How can I make them start again?

You could manually recheck the download too, no need to import and loose your ratio stats here.

That shouldn't happen, what if you do stop and then start ?

The obvious way is to start one download after you are done pausing it. That would actually make sense. But if I click one one of the paused downloads and choose start it just changes color and states "Stalled", rather then "downloading".

Yes I could go that route but I am not sure if the settings I have applied to each download will be lost. Thinking particullary of Share Ratio.

Then it is running, have a bit of patience, it can take some time before KT finds peers and starts downloading.
