Problem installing Ktorrent 2.2.5

Mon Feb 11, 2008 7:26 pm
I was using version 2.2.1 on a Centos 5 box until today when I decided to upgrade to 2.2.5
I uninstalled version 2.2.1 first, then begin fresh install of 2.2.5 version
./configure finished without errors, but make displays a error after about 1 minute compiling

Code: Select all
avahiservice.cpp:22:32: error: avahi-qt3/qt-watch.h: No such file or directory
avahiservice.cpp: In function 'void kt::listener_callback(AvahiClient*, AvahiClientState, void*)':
avahiservice.cpp:134: warning: unused variable 'service'
avahiservice.cpp: In member function 'bool kt::AvahiService::startPublishing()':
avahiservice.cpp:279: error: 'avahi_qt_poll_get' was not declared in this scope
avahiservice.cpp: In member function 'bool kt::AvahiService::startBrowsing()':
avahiservice.cpp:304: error: 'avahi_qt_poll_get' was not declared in this scope

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

where is the error? in installer? or in my system? (I updated today my system)

thanks

Look for a package named avahi-qt3 or something like that and make sure you have the development package of it installed.
