This version of ktorrent and the previous version both had this problem.
Pretty sure my default KDE lang is GBeng but I also have Japanese installed and skim. I have not found a way to change the language to purely English and I have tried and searched forums but with no luck. I also have this problem with K3b but haven't noticed it with other KDE applications. I'm using Kubuntu Feisty with KDE 3.5.6 Please help me.

You have to find a file named: ktorrent.mo
Most probably you'll find it in /usr/share/locale/country_code/LC_MESSAGES, where country_code is (mostly) presented as double letter code (bg, de, ja, pl and so on). Remove, or better rename the file and restart an application. It should be shown in English now. Regards |
