could you please explain how the upload speed affects download speed because it's not clear enough and you could upload only on 1kb and still have max donwload!

The current way most client have choking implemented is by tit for tat, which mean that it tries to unchoke clients it get a download speed from. So you have a higher change to get unchoked at some clients when you upload to them, this does not mean you cannot get the full maximum speed. if the health of the swarm is very good you could still maximize you connection out.

That's what I thought. I wonder if you can give us an example for how you count the download speed limit. Ex: on windows utorrent allows unlimited download if your upload speed limit is set to 6KB and a limitition of 30k download for 5K upload and so on.... |
