Hi, I have Yahoo Sbc DSL, and my maximum downstream should be 768 kbps and my maximum upstream should be 384 kbps. Of course this is under the best conditions possible. I did a speed test and these are my results:

Down Speed - 657 kbps
Up Speed - 328 kbps

The highest dl speed I have achieved on my pc so far is 32.6 kbps, on my brother's pc which is connected to the internet via wi-fi, his max dl speed has been in the 80's.

These are my Preferences:

Max Connections per torrent: 300
Global Connection limit: 800
Max Upload Rate: 22 kbps
Max Download Rate: unlimited

Port: 50007
UDP Tracker Port: 4444
Number of Upload Slots: 5

*Note* Both Port and UDP Tracker Port are forwarded.

So, what can I do to improve my speeds?

There is no real need to have that many connections per torrent, usually around 50 is more then enough.

Other then that, it looks pretty much OK.

Btw, do not confuse kbps with KB/s, ktorrent uses KB/s, so setting the max upload rate to 22 KB/s means that you will be using 176 kbps
