ktorrent often shuts down

I often leave ktorrent downloading and seeding. When I check it, it has often shut itself down. This has happened several times but not all the time. Any idea why it would shut down on it's own inconsistently?

KTorrent 2.2.1 (Using KDE 3.5.8) I'm running it on Ubuntu Gutsy with all current updates.

Activate the backports, there you should find the more updated version 2.2.5.

Didn't know about back ports - thanks. Update Ktorrent and some other stuff.
