Kubuntu 8.04, with the addition of KDE4-Desktop and kde4-devel

I'm trying to install the latest stable version (3.0.2) and have hit a brick wall in as much that I don't have the qca.pc file

After a fair amount of googling and hair pulling, I'm now bald and unable to find any way to get QCA2 !

Any guidance much appreciated.

I suppose it's Qt Cryptographic Architecture (QCA) you are missing, or it's development package. See http://delta.affinix.com/qca/

It's most likely located in it's own pakages/devel-pakages or in some kind of kde-support package. Guess it's depends on your distribution.

Run this command :

sudo apt-get build-dep ktorrent-kde4

If that doesn't install everything you need to compile ktorrent 3.0.2, you can start pulling out the hair of the kubuntu people

Thanks for the command George, it is now compiling in the background and thanks Knut for the QCA link, I never found that one, must revise my search strings
