Kubuntu 8.04, with the addition of KDE4-Desktop and kde4-devel
I'm trying to install the latest stable version (3.0.2) and have hit a brick wall in as much that I don't have the qca.pc file me@server:/thrash/ktorrent-3.0.2/build$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/lib/kde4 .. -- Found Qt-Version 4.3.4 (using /usr/bin/qmake-qt4) -- Found X11: /usr/lib/libX11.so -- Found KDE 4.0 include dir: /usr/lib/kde4/include -- Found KDE 4 library dir: /usr/lib/kde4/lib -- Found KDE4 kconfig_compiler preprocessor: /usr/lib/kde4/bin/kconfig_compiler -- Found KDE4 automoc: /usr/lib/kde4/bin/kde4automoc -- KDE CMake PKGCONFIG macro indicates that qca2 is not installed on your computer. -- Install the package which contains qca2.pc if you want to support this feature. -- Could NOT find QCA2 includes -- Could NOT find QCA2 libraries CMake Error: Could NOT find QCA2 -- Configuring done After a fair amount of googling and hair pulling, I'm now bald and unable to find any way to get QCA2 ! Any guidance much appreciated. Thanks. |

I suppose it's Qt Cryptographic Architecture (QCA) you are missing, or it's development package. See http://delta.affinix.com/qca/
It's most likely located in it's own pakages/devel-pakages or in some kind of kde-support package. Guess it's depends on your distribution. |
