Can I build ktorrent for CLI use without KDE dependencies?

I only want to use the ktorrent's command line interface so I really don't need all the graphical stuff. Is there an easy way to build ktorrent that doesn't require me to have all the graphical libraries or KDE installed?

Thank you.

No there is none, the commandline interface is only a script which uses DCOP to talk to ktorrent. KTorrent needs to be running for it to work.

If ktorrent needs to be running does that imply that the GUI needs to be up and an X-Windows connection established?

Thank you.
